Excellent. Not only is Kinglsand Road a major artery for buses, but the tube-linked overground stops right beside this place with trains every 5 minutes during peak hours.

Great cycle routes all around, the most prominent being the canal tow-path west to Notting Hill via Islington and Camden, also a nice alternative for the West End. This route continues East to Canary Wharf via Mile End and Limehouse, then on to Greenwich through the pedestrian tunnel.
Too-long overlooked as the regrettable filler in a Dalston/Shoreditch sandwich, Haggerston's moment has finally arrived.
